Bubble.io: How to use the Editor
All seven tabs in the Bubble Editor explained.
With Bubble, you can build your app from design to deployment.
The Editor mode provides seven tabs that you can use to construct your user experience, as well as a visual preview that can be updated in real-time as you develop. Here’s an overview of how Bubble can help you create your app from design to publishing.
Design Tab
The design tab allows you to define your app’s visual appearance. You can drag and drop UI elements such as images, text, buttons, and other widgets into the canvas and customize the look and feel of your application.
Workflows Tab
The workflows tab enables you to detail the user interactions in your app. By connecting events to actions that manipulate data, you can specify the process flow of your application.
Data Tab
The data tab allows you to manage the data that your users create in the app. You can create and modify objects, fields and relationships, as well as specify rules and constraints that apply to your app’s data.
Styles Tab
The styles tab enables you to create reusable designs for elements like colors, fonts and buttons. You can also define animations, transitions, and other effects that apply to your application.
Plugins Tab
The plugins tab lets you add extended functionality to your app with easy-to-use components from the Bubble library. This tab can help you enhance the user experience with integrations to other services such as Stripe, Google Maps or SendGrid.
Settings Tab
The settings tab enables you to define app-wide controls and connect to external services with one click. This can help you easily deploy your application to users or other services.
Logs Tab
The logs tab gives you an overview of your application’s usage and activity. It can help you identify and diagnose errors quickly, and make necessary changes in order to improve the performance of your application.
Deployment
When you are ready to deploy your app, you can switch from development mode to live mode with a few clicks. Your app will then be available on your own domain or through the bubbleapps.io URL, so that your users can access it.
Bubble makes it easy to construct an app with its seven tabs, real-time previews and easy deployment system. It provides all the building blocks you need to create a great user experience that can be accessed from anywhere.
